Our Services

Through the years, Ability Therapy has been able to expand its line of services from physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, nursing, and medical social work services. Our company began its operations with a specialization on home health medical services and per diem staffing to skilled nursing facilities. Today, our services range from home health services, per diem staffing, PRN, travel assignments and permanent placement. As staffing needs vary and change over time, we have learned to quickly adapt to our client’s needs.

Our responsiveness has been key to client satisfaction. We provide our customers with immediate access to a wide network of highly-skilled healthcare professionals, most of which were personally trained by our talented staffing managers in one-on-one sessions. For home health staffing, see our areas of coverage in this map.

We are committed to providing our clients the best in class healthcare services through our talented pool of medical professionals. Each one has been thoroughly screened through our 21-point credential and background verification procedure. As a candidate is on-boarded they are provided hands-on or field training to ensure compliance with quality standards. Physical Therapy

Physical therapists are licensed health care professionals who help patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility. They also focus on teaching patients and their families how to prevent or manage their condition so that they will achieve long-term health benefits. Physical therapists evaluate each patient and develop a treatment plan to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. In addition, they work with individuals to prevent the loss of mobility before it occurs by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists are licensed health care professionals who help patients to do the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of daily activities (occupations). Occupational therapy practitioners enable people of all ages to live life to its fullest by helping them promote health, and prevent—or live better with—injury, illness, or disability. Occupational therapy includes helping patients with disabilities to participate fully in school or work environments and social situations, helping people recovering from injury to regain skills, and providing supports for older adults experiencing physical and cognitive changes.

Speech Therapy

Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. Speech disorders occur when a person has difficulty producing speech sounds correctly or fluently (e.g., stuttering is a form of disfluency) or has problems with his or her voice or resonance. Additionally, Speech-language pathologists provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. They also provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder or progressive neurological disorders.
